Maternal-Child Health Care

Public Health provides maternal-child health care including:

  • Healthy Beginnings + offers prenatal care coordination, a BadgerCare benefit. This program helps pregnant women receive the support, education, and services they need to have a healthy baby including:
    • Assistance in getting needed health care
    • Nutrition counseling and health education
    • Locating needed services in our community
  • Breastfeeding education and consultation
  • Postpartum home visits
  • Postpartum depression screening
  • Education and assessment for pregnant women, new parents, infants, and children
