Road Construction Projects

Learn about upcoming road work scheduled by the St. Croix County Highway Department. This schedule is subject to change with weather and unexpected events. This page is updated weekly during the summer. Please contact the Highway Department if you have any questions.

When traveling in work zones slow down and watch for flaggers, maintenance workers, and equipment. Always be aware of your surroundings, buckle up and phone down. Thank you for helping keep the St. Croix County roads safe.


Public Involvement Meeting Information 


Public Involvement Meeting – County E & County I Roundabout Project

St. Croix County and the Town of St. Joseph are hosting a public involvement meeting on December 9, from 4–6 pm at St. Joseph Town Hall, to share information and gather feedback on proposed safety and operational improvements at the County Highway E and County Highway I intersection. The project would convert the intersection to a roundabout, with work planned for summer–fall 2028.
