County Clerk

The County Clerk is a Constitutional Officer elected every four years by the voters of St. Croix County.  The St. Croix County Clerk’s office has both statutory and non-statutory responsibilities.

  • Marriage Licenses
  • Domestic Partnership Terminations
  • Dog License Issuance to Municipalities
  • Acceptance of Passport Applications
  • Timber Cutting Notices
  • Work Permits - Minors Under the Age of 16- BEGINNING JULY 3, 2023, THE COUNTY CLERK'S OFFICE WILL NO LONGER BE ISSUING WORK PERMITS.  Parents must use the new application on the Equal Rights Division site at: 
    https://dwd.wisconsin.gov/er/laborstandards/workpermit/default.htm

Appointments are required for Marriage Licenses and Passport Applications
