New Entrance Building Glen Hills

Glen Hills Park Improvements

Exciting Updates at Peninsula Campground

The Peninsula Campground at Glen Hills Park has undergone some long-awaited improvements designed to make your stay more comfortable and convenient.

Construction began in September 2024 on a new entrance building and a modern restroom and shower facility. Campers can now check in without leaving their vehicles, thanks to a redesigned entrance layout. The new building also includes a 24-hour vestibule with a flush toilet and sink for after-hours use.

The aging shower house and pit toilets have been replaced with a brand-new facility featuring four private, lockable units—each with a shower, toilet, sink, and changing area for extra comfort and privacy. A heartfelt thank-you to all our 2025 campers for your patience during construction. We can’t wait to welcome you back for another great camping season in 2026!

Now’s the perfect time to start planning your next getaway—reserve your campsite early and be among the first to enjoy these exciting new updates at Peninsula Campground.

Pine Lake New Pavilion

Pine Lake Has a New Look

New picnic shelter, restrooms, and ADA dock

Pine Lake Park and Boat Landing in Baldwin, WI, has received major improvements—starting with upgrades to the concrete boat launch ramp panels, which were reset to make boat launching safer and easier for all visitors.

Thanks to an $87,000 Wisconsin DNR Recreational Boating Facilities Grant—covering 50% of project costs—St. Croix County completed a series of enhancements to improve accessibility, safety, and overall visitor experience.

The project also includes a new ADA-accessible dock, replacement of the old vault toilets, and a brand-new covered, open-air shelter with electricity and picnic tables. A 5-foot concrete walkway now connects the pavilion, dock, restrooms, and parking lot—all fully ADA accessible.

In addition, the gravel parking area has been paved and expanded to include 14 parking spaces (one ADA-accessible).

Looking for the perfect spot for a family reunion or graduation party? Pine Lake Park now offers the ideal mix of convenience, comfort, and natural beauty.

New Gates

New Park Gate System Coming in 2026!

A new automated gate system will soon make your visit easier

Big changes are on the horizon for St. Croix County Parks! A new automated gate system will soon make it easier for visitors to access and enjoy our parks.

Annual park pass sales will begin in mid to late November, ahead of the gates becoming fully operational in January 2026. The new system will help extend visitor opportunities at Troy Beach and improve overall park access throughout the year.

By streamlining entry and reducing manual gate operations, park staff will be able to dedicate more time to maintaining trails, facilities, and natural spaces—enhancing the experience for everyone who visits.

Stay tuned for more details as we roll out this exciting upgrade!
