[ARCHIVED] St. Croix County Hazardous Waste Voucher Program

Used Hazardous Waste Stacked Up

Can’t wait until the September Clean Sweep event to get rid of your household or agricultural waste? St. Croix County is now offering a new $25 Voucher Program to help defray costs when you bring your hazardous materials directly to Logistics Recycling (LRI), based in Somerset. This program is not available to businesses. 

LATEX paint will not be covered under the voucher program. Once latex paint is no longer in a liquid form it is not considered hazardous waste and can be thrown in the trash. Use saw dust, kitty litter or a paint hardener to turn paint into a solid.  

Step #1: 

Resident will contact the Recycling Specialist and provide: 

Step #2: 

Recycling Specialist will provide to resident:  

  • Voucher number (must be used within a 3-week period) 
  • Inventory form to fill out 
  • Logistics Recycling contact information 

Step #3: 

Resident will email LRI and provide completed inventory form with their voucher number.

  • LRI will respond to resident’s email with scheduled drop-off time options 
  • Resident will bring proof of residency when dropping off materials
