Holiday Giving

Santa giving a little girl a gift.

Every year St. Croix County employees come together to give back to the communities we serve. Join us in making the holidays brighter and warmer for the residents of St. Croix County. Needs come in all sizes. With your help we can spread cheer and hope to those in need this holiday season.

Toys for Tots

County employees are participating in the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program again this year. Last year with your help, we donated over 300 toys to area children. If you want to help, please bring a new, unwrapped toy to one of our St. Croix County locations by Thursday, December 14. We will have donation boxes at:

  • Baldwin:
    • St. Croix County Highway Building - 300 Oak Rdg Pkwy, Baldwin, WI
  • Hudson:
    • St. Croix County Government Center - 1101 Carmichael Rd, Hudson, WI
  • New Richmond:
    • St. Croix County Services Center - 1752 Dorset Ln, New Richmond, WI
    • St. Croix County Health & Rehab Center - 1445 N 4th St, New Richmond, WI

How it Works

St. Croix County employees and members of our communities can drop new, unwrapped toys off in collection boxes at St. Croix County Government buildings. Toys for Tots Coordinators pick up these toys and distribute them to children in need.

Toys for Tots doesn't publish a list of recommended toys or cost range, explaining that it encourages a broad range of gifts. It is up to you to determine how much you're comfortable spending on toys to donate. We suggest thinking about gifts that a child in your life would love.

You can learn more about Toys for Tots and request a toy on the Toys for Tots Website.

How to Request a Toy

St. Croix County is collecting these toys for the Toys for Tots program. Toys for Tots coordinators will pick up and distribute these toys to children in our area. If you would like to request a toy, please visit the Toys for Tots Website.

Winter Clothing Drive

County employees are also holding a winter clothing drive for area shelters. We are collecting new clothing in a variety of sizes that will keep people warm during our cold winter months. If you would like to donate, you can drop off new winter clothing at one of our County buildings by December 7 or visit a local shelter. Some ideas can include:

  • Socks
  • Hats
  • Mittens / Gloves
